Ingredients
1 bag of frozen green beans (we like the long kind (shown), but the chopped ones would work, too. I don't usually use the french cut because they get too mushy)
1 Tbsp butter or olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
Tools
skillet or frying pan
spatula or spoon
Steps
1. Warm the butter or oil in the pan, medium heat
2. Dump in the green beans
3. Add the salt
4. Saute, stirring occasionally, for 5-10 minutes. If the beans are getting too brown too fast, turn down the heat. If beans aren't cooking fast enough, turn up the heat and put on the lid.
Step 5. Serve and enjoy!
Variations
1. Serve with freshly grated parmesean (I don't recommend using the powdered stuff from the can on these beans. It's just not that good.)
